We are currently hiring for 2026 (and beyond)!

Perfect role for those who crave a life filled with experiences and human interaction. You don't need to be an extrovert to work here but empathy, a rock-solid work ethic, self-direction, an eye for detail, flexibility, and communication skills are critical.

We're hiring part-time and full-time staff year-round, and are open to seasonal availability if that's what works for you.

Pay starts at $18/hour

Key Responsibilities

Team members work across multiple areas of daily operations. Shifts vary but the role generally covers some combination of the following:

Reception

  • Answering phones, managing reservations, welcoming & assisting guests

  • Maintaining the safety & comfort of the hostel environment

Breakfast & bar service

  • Setting out & maintaining breakfast during morning shifts

  • Preparing simple recipes for our daily continental breakfast

  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness & inventory

  • Light bar service during afternoon/evening shifts

Lodge & property upkeep

  • Turning over guest rooms & cleaning all common areas

  • Laundry, restocking, and periodic deep cleaning

  • Seasonal property tasks — shoveling in winter, garden & grounds maintenance in summer

Shuttling

We operate a shuttle service for thru-hikers and guests exploring the area. Most trips are local — a few miles to the trailhead — but longer trips are part of the role too. Requirements: valid driver's license, clean record, and a genuine understanding that we have zero tolerance for anything that puts a guest at risk in our care. No additional licensure required.

Morning: 6:30am–10:30am or 6:30am–2:30pm

Evening: 2:00pm–10:00pm or 5:00pm–10:00pm

Exact hours can vary based on team composition and season — we're somewhat flexible with the right person.
