Key Responsibilities

Winter Seasonal & Year-Round Hospitality Staff — Winter 2025/26

We are currently hiring part-time housekeeping team members to support daily operations during the winter season at our mountain lodge and hostel.

Position Overview

Winter brings unique housekeeping challenges — more boots, more grit, more wet floors — and your work makes all the difference in keeping the lodge a warm and welcoming space. Housekeeping team members are responsible for guest room turnovers, maintaining common areas, and keeping up with the daily laundry flow that comes with winter travel.

Guest Rooms

  • Clean and prepare rooms between guest stays

  • Dust, vacuum, restock essentials, and deep clean bathrooms

  • Refresh spaces quickly and thoroughly during peak turnover periods

Common Areas

  • Maintain entryways, mudrooms, and walkways inside the building — sweeping up grit, mopping wet floors, and keeping high-traffic areas safe and tidy

  • Assist with periodic deep cleaning of shared spaces
Wash dishes, tidy common rooms, and support operations staff as needed

Laundry

  • Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and restock linens and towels

  • Transport laundry between floors (up to 30 lbs per load)

  • Keep laundry areas organized and flowing smoothly to support high winter occupancy

Additional Details

Schedule & Compensation

  • Typical shifts run between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, but duration may vary.

  • Flexibility is important, as guest bookings and turnovers can shift with the snow forecast.

  • We’re happy to work with team members on scheduling needs — just keep communication open.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Benefits: PTO accrues at 1 hour per 40 hours worked.

Winter Work Environment

  • High guest volume and heavier foot traffic — expect more wet floors, grit, and snow gear in common areas.

  • Active, physical role that involves carrying laundry baskets (up to 30 lbs) and being on your feet.

  • Ideal for people who find satisfaction in creating cozy, welcoming spaces for winter travelers.

  • Supportive team environment where your work is essential and appreciated.
